See, ISIS Really Has Nothing To Do With Islam

Reader comment on item: ISIS Imposes a Partial Ban on Burqas

Submitted by Dave (United States), Sep 6, 2016 at 18:53

That's right. Guys like John Kerry and Obama have been right all along. This burka ban proves that ISIS is not really Islamic - they just like to say that they are. No truly Islamic outfit would ban such a quintessentially Islamic symbol as the burka. Now, I realize that skeptics will claim that in banning the burka as a security measure in certain locations, the leaders of ISIS are just watching out for themselves. But since when do real, red-blooded Muslims compromise with an iconic tradition in order to avoid martyrdom and an impromptu rendezvous with the 72 sloe-eyed virgins?

Those crafty ISIS hypocrites are probably collecting their Jizya payments and then squirreling them away in a Swiss bank account while they spend their days leafing through LL Bean catalogs, ordering Smithfield hams online and watching Seinfeld reruns. For kicks, I bet they all get together and read each other quotes from sanctimonious liberal politicians, and then laugh themselves silly over the ones on how banning the burka is racist and Islamophobic.
