One state Solution

Reader comment on item: Give Up on the Two-State Solution? Other Ideas

Submitted by Nick (United Kingdom), May 15, 2015 at 03:05

Hi Daniel, hope you are well. Some, or perhaps many, including myself, have come to believe that the two state solution is no longer possible. I have come to believe the one state solution whereby Israel annexes West Bank and offers the Palestinians full Israeli citizenship has become actually an attractive option. Supporters of this include Tzipi Hotovely, Reuven Rivlin, Caroline Glick (who I disagree with on so much but yet agree with on this point).

Do you see the one state solution as a feasible option?

Nick

I see this as hair-brained from Israel's point of view and agree with Martin Sherman's analysis at www.jpost.com/Opinion/Into-the-fray-The-immorality-of-the-two-state-principle-402445
