Dr. Pipes ,

I would like to know your views about the following interesting points about Israeli-Palestinian conflict

1. Israel is facing a crisis which probably no nation has ever faced , Israel is more powerful pollitically, militarliy and economically than all of it's enemies yet it is the one which is facing a psychological crisis . Instead of it's enemies who should fear Israel it is Israel which is fearing it's enemies for reasons like Hezbollah's missiles ,Hamas's rockets,Iran's nukes which are not too difficult for Israel to face off , militarilly.

2. The support for Israel among Christians in US is not as widespread as it was and the liberals in US are certainly not happy with Israel. The evangelicals(particularly the younger generation) are not finding Israel that attractive as it was to them , some years ago.

3. The Jews themselves , particularly the American Jews seems to be not that much strong minded about sticking with the Zionist idea of Israel. Many Jews are leaving Israel for USA.

----- Would like to know your viewpoints about all these above points Dr. Pipes.
