Dr Pipes

This is the video of el-Sisi's speech at Davos and notice that he links the June 30 2013 uprising in Egypt against the Muslim brotherhood and their terrorism with the recent Paris atrocity at Charlie Hebdo. and the response of the people of France to this atrocity.

He makes it very clear that we all have to stand up against this menace of terrorism "in the name of Islam" and fight it

He also pleads that "we have to respect al-'aqa'id (the belief system) of others" which is his way of saying that the west can help by staying away from the cartoons of Muhammad and in the mean time Muslims should stop from denigrating other religions

He also makes it clear that his priority is the Egyptian economy and that Egypt is open for business again

Here is the video

He sounds sincere to me and smarter than Morsi and his gang
