What victory ?

Reader comment on item: Do I Not Criticize Israeli Policies?

Submitted by Lars Nielsen (Denmark), Oct 17, 2013 at 19:21

Mr. Pipes says, he wants victory for Israel. Don't we all do the same ?

Bur what is victory ?

Is Israel able to destroy its enemies, the palestinians, the egyots, the jordanians, the saudis an dso forth ?

Certainly not

So what is victory for Israel ?

Obviously not winning victory over muslims, for so Israel has done since 1947.

So what is victory for Israel ?

Obviously to have lasting peace with Israels enemies.

But how to do that without getting the Israel and its enemies to to the negotiating table and find a solution, everybody will regard as fair.

That's the question.
