Well said Dr. Pipes, Indeed a Side Show, Iran is the Head of the Snake and the instigator of the conflicts in the Middle East. I am glad that you offered past history and genuine strategies, knowing the actions and wars that have happened in the MIddle East. Someone needs to guide Washington because they have made a mess of so many things.

As Lt. Col Tony Shaffer said, "Most of the Generals and Lt. Cols are not ANTI-WAR, they are ANTI-STUPIDITY, This fiasco gets us into other conflicts and yet does not solve the real problem. The botched intentions in Benghazi where 4 of our Americans were killed without lifting a finger to rescue them has proved to be a noose around the Obama administrations head, along with championing the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, all failed Foreign Policies. I think there is more to this story. Syria has trillions of dollars of energy revenue running through its land, which could be another factor for the attack. The World runs on Oil, and the demand grows daily, especially in China, and other big countries. The world isn't running out of oil, its running out of cheap oil, prices keep rising and wars escalate the price too.
