Reader comment on item: Arguing against "Limited" Strikes on the Assad Regime

Submitted by Akshay (India), Aug 28, 2013 at 10:49

If the West keeps back its 'aid' now there will surely come up some other very similar or worse scenario given the war & death loving culture of the Middle Eastern people. But they must be left alone to see what they themselves make of their lives. Obviously, the altruist West will have a hard time leaving the spoit kids play alone being the world peace keepers that they think of themselves.

The kind of limited strikes on Syria carry a poor message to the Syrian govt and its people as Dr. Pipes explains precisely. Agitations like these are what the would-be terrorist all need to fuel them with. This is how bullies are and always been born and brought up.
