Dr. Pipes

When we think that there is indeed an end to this insanity by Morsi against Bassem Youseef we have more insanity and this time Bassem is accused of insulting Pakistan!

How do you insult a country? and here is his tweet

Dr Bassem Youssef ‏@DrBassemYoussef23h

A new investigation started against me accusing me of: insulting Islam(again), spreading atheism & insulting Pakistan

But there is more as usual to this funny story. As we all know Morsi was awarded an honoray PhD degree from some university in the failed state of Pakistan and by now we know that Morsi did wear this ridiculous and funny hat

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AI9is0Zd0Tc

And how can anyone not make fun of this ridiculous hat? and indeed Bassem Youssef did make fun of it which Morsi did not like

But the funny part was exposing Morsi's little address in the Pakistani university by the Egyptian scholar Youssef Zeidan who works at the Alexnadria Library as full of serious mistakes and here is the article

http://www.almasryalyoum.com/node/1578706

And for the readers the mistakes are:

He is saying that Morsi pronounced the name of al-byroni as el-beroni (for those of you that know Egyptian Arabic this is the vocalization of this name in Egyptian Arabic but not in modern classical Arabic) and Morsi also claimed that he discovered the pulmonary circulation and that both aortic as well as pulmonary circulation were discovered by ibn al-nafees

What a disaster

2. Second mistake

And here Morsi claims that al-byroni was a philosopher which is not true

And in this mistake Morsi claimed that George Sarton's book is called "A study in the history of Knowledge" when it should be "An intorduction to the history of knowledge" which really means that Morsi or who ever helped him did not check his references with any degree of accuracy

4. And here Morsi says that Ibn Haytham was the one who taught the world about the human anatomy when he was only interested in optics and engineering

Then Zeidan adds that the knowledge of anatomy comes from Greek and Alexandrian learing but he also adds and Arabs and Muslims (and this part is not true)

And here it seems that Morsi said that Ibn Khaldun "invented" the science of sociology when it was Dukheim that should be given such credit

And as usual it was a fest for Bassem and Morsi did not like

The real questions are:

1. How come the Pakistanis that listened to such nonsense did not expose the many mistakes in Morsi's address?

2. And yes one can blame the people that wrote his address but Morsi should have reviewed the facts before uttering this nonsense after all he was supposed to be awarded a PhD degree albeit honorary

How did he earn a PhD degree from USC? I wonder

Now we know why they after Bassem Youssef again
