Hagel and Schumer - same difference, both politicians

Reader comment on item: The Hagel Nomination: An Open Letter to Sen. Charles E. Schumer

Submitted by stanley b (United States), Feb 20, 2013 at 17:48

While the sentiments are quite correct and heartfelt, I have little hope that such a letter - even with such a personal connection-,will have any impact on the political aspirations of Sen Schumer, who will follow the party line and turn his back on his principles and his previous statements about Israel and embrace whatever President Obama and the reigning democrats choose to peddle to the American people as responsible government.
