Liberals vs Orthodox Jews

Reader comment on item: The Orthodox Future of Judaism

Submitted by Octavio Johanson (Italy), Jan 27, 2005 at 17:02

Reader Call Miller is right to point out that Marxism was the wrong ideology for Jews. Both communism and socialism were virulently anti-Semitic and modern liberals are anti-Zionist. The expression "Zio-Nazis" is a liberal construction. As a non-Jew, I feel much closer to Orthodox Jews that to liberal "Christians". Marxism and liberalism have secularized the Jewish faith as they have done with my fellow Christians. Liberals enjoy insulting and discrediting Western religions.
