A great religion of the world

Reader comment on item: The Orthodox Future of Judaism

Submitted by S.C.Panda (India), Jan 26, 2005 at 05:02

Dear Prof Pipes,

About two years ago I purchased a book "Great Religions of the world" by Dr Annie Besant (1847-1933). The contents of this book includes-Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, Christianity, Islam, Zoroastrianism etc but significantly Judaism was not included. I can only guess it was not included because of its small number.

For any community to survive, the family should have a minimum of two children, more the better to take care of diseases and accidents.

Regards, Sincerely, S.C.Panda
