Tall but hollow claims

Reader comment on item: Finding Allah in Unlikely Places
in response to reader comment: Hindus invented nothing

First of all let me clarify that I am not an Islamic apologist as you claim. I am a modern and educated Muslim and not like hindu pseudo westerners who think they are more progressive and cultured than the west, while traditionally they are too backward.

I understand computers and internet much more than you think. If you claim that someone at MIT invented FTP, why don't you specify his name? The real history of FTP is as follows:

  • 1968 - The ARPA builds the Arpanet, the forefather of the Internet.
  • 1969 - The Arpanet set up four nodes in the United States: they are situated at the universities of Los Angeles (UCLA), Santa Barbara, Utah and Stanford, using the NCP protocol. The e-mail and the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) are invented.
  • 1974 - Vint Cerf and Bob Hahn publish their article on the TCP/IP protocols, that are still in use today.

This proves that FTP was invented by Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) and not someone at MIT (HA HA HA).

Instead of wondering what happened to late Islam, why don't you wonder why there is so much of ignorance and illiteracy among hindus. Just staying in US and singing praises about your culture will not help. Do something more practical if you want to uplift your people, instead of hate mongering towards Muslims.
