Hindus invented nothing

Dear Dr Pipes:

Reader AAA from India tells me that Hindus invented nothing. And adds that a lot of things were invented by "early Muslims". Hypocrisy and ignorance are jewels of Islamic apologists of which AAA seems to be one. His message telling us that Hindus invented nothing spread around the world over the Internet. AAA is probably smart enough to understand that Internet works using network protocols using which computers communicate with each other. The file transfer protocol the grand daddy of all network protocols was written by someone at MIT. AAA should check it out who wrote it. Also, I am wondering if early Islam invented so many things, what happened to the late Islam.

Perhaps it takes several centuries to destroy the creativeness of a culture. Should I surmise that between early and late Islams, it took many centuries for political Islam to destroy the creative abilities of the original cultures.
