"I don't see that, from the Islamic point of view"

Excerpt:

In contrast to Abdo, Muzammil Siddiqi of Islamic Law Counsel of North America, sees no contradiction between practicing Islam and serving as a soldier. "I don't see that, from the Islamic point of view, there is any problem with that. There are a lot of good Muslims who are serving in the U.S. Army and a lot of other places."

That above excerpt is the whole darn problem with many Muslims. They constantly wanna find an Islamic point of view on everything thing from going to bathroom to beating one's wife...

They fail to understand when you join the military you hold loyalty only to your country and nothing else. What must be done to correct the situation is:

  • Recruits must undergo intense psychological evaluation.
  • Conscientious Objection based on religious reasons must be disallowed.
  • In the oath they must add the line that "My Religious and Personal convictions shall never interfere to protect United States and its citizens"
  • Last but not the least, don't hesitate to eliminate parasites before they turn deadly.
