who cares ?

Reader comment on item: Understanding Post-Mubarak Egypt
in response to reader comment: What makes you think I care?

Submitted by the Grand Infidel of Kaffiristan (Australia), May 6, 2011 at 08:55

Mr Riaz, living amongst Infidels in the UK and thereby offering tacit agreement to the benefits of living in a secular and overall superior culture, writes:

"So your ridiculous one liners are full of truth. And my paragraphs need sources."
Which 'one liners' does Mr Riaz refer to? Mr Riaz's paragraphs certainly need sources. So far all we see is a muslim ego throwing hissy fits at various respondents and offering no facts to counter any points made.

Some of Mr Riaz's recent pronouncements certainly do need clarification as well as verifaction:

"No believe (sic) of one religion can ever have REGARD for someone else religion.
Else he would be believer of that religion."

So people trying to find common ground with muslims for example are wasting their time?

"Its the "Westernised" component that finger raped the woman. "
Sources?

"I mean its West that really cries after stuff like that..."
But in muslim countries - it's an everyday occurrence and no one cares?

"- but with worse rape levels than rest of humanity."
sources?

"Egypt is a DEAD society. They need to leave pursuit of Westernism to progress."
Mr Riaz was asked several times to furnish a list of the progressive muslim countries which have no input form the West and are progressive. To date, the list has not been forthcoming.

"Christianty WAS never the orginal religion of Europe anyways."
Such profound revelations!. Could it be that our Pakistani friend Mr Riaz actually does have a job and is a professor of history?

"Why not take whole Europe to Islam?" (sic)
The reasons why that should never and will never happen are lost on islam's fanatical adherents.

"Who will be left for your salvation? well not yours - but everyone else."
This was directed at Dhimmi? Is it correct that Mr Riaz is now holding himself out to be speaking on behalf of his deity?

And what is 'salvation' to the muslim mind - arrival at a big bordello in the sky? And getting your own personal tent? It certainly has nothing to do with 'moksha' - in fact in many ways it is its antithesis.

"And there is no such thing as free press anywhere. You yourself proved it - at least read your sources before giving them out. "

The source given was http://www.worldaudit.org/presstable.html

What that source proves beyond the shadow of a doubt is that nearly all muslim countriers do not have a free press. Even Turkey, which prides itself as being a progressive mulsim societyonly manages to get a 'partially free' rating.

" - yo are hardly worth it - when addressing criticism of someone else's views you don't make it personal. "

It would be helpful if Mr Riaz could identify those paragraphs that he considers were particularly hurtful to him

"...Then complain you have the moral high ground or that you are worth conversing with..."
and also explain where it is that I have complained that I have the high moral ground or have
complained that I was 'worth conversing with'.

"Also what you don't do is not practice what you preach."
Mr Riaz should explain just what it is that he thinks is being preached.
And also what it is that he thinks is being practiced.

"Now that I question your sources you cobble something up - before it was ok? "
Regarding sources - Mr Riaz has not questioned them - but neither has he offered any cogent arguments
to any points made. If Mr Riaz has had a tertiary education - he should know to always acknowledge
sources and prior work by others. Especially when making lofty pronouncements.

"....What makes you think I care?..."
An irrelevant question. I personally have zero interest in what Mr Riaz cares about or believes is reality.
He could for example believe in flying winged horses with the face and breasts of a woman and the tail of a peacock.
Or that a 7th century arab desert raider split the moon with his little finger. Or that a 7th century equivalent of
a David Koresh, who married and bedded a nine year old girl was a 'prophet'.
Mr Riaz might believe for some reason that he must make a trek to a desert town in Saudi Arabia at least once in his life, or shave off his pubic hair, or face that same desert town five times a day and develop an OCD condition connected with washing his arms because he believes that would somehow connect him more than he is already connected with Life and consciousness.
I have no interest in what distorted thinking is going on in his brain pan.

However I do care when BS and hypocrisy masquerades itself as truth.

In carrying on the way he does, extolling the imagined wonders of islam, Mr Riaz does nothing but reinforce people's already negative impressions of muslims. No wisdom, no peace, no insight shines through - just confrontation.

One explanation is that Mr Riaz is not a muslim at all - but somebody being clever and deliberately pretending to be an ignorant and arrogant muslim in order to actually give the readers a negative impression of muslims. Mossad perhaps?
