Another Wrong Idea About Trying to Make Jesus Christ a Muslim-Islam Does NOT Reveal Who Jesus Christ Really IS!

Reader comment on item: Islam and Democracy - Much Hard Work Needed
in response to reader comment: MUHAMMED AND JESUS !!!!!!!!

Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Feb 23, 2011 at 19:18

Evidently, your perception of Jesus Christ is as flawed as the rest of Islam trying to make out that Jesus Christ is somehow in support of the rebellion against His WORD. It is also clear that you would prefer to protect your belief in Islam's version of who you think Jesus Christ is, because you have not yet found the faith necessary to understand to whom and what Jesus Christ was directing this verse.

I do not intend to try any conversion process with you, or anyone else who is not compelled to seek the truth concerning Jesus Christ. He IS who He IS and He is not who Islam says. You will need the Holy Bible for that. And your misguided observance of a verse you obviously do not understand is never going to help you gain what you need to learn about Jesus Christ. For that, guess what? You need the Holy Spirit!

One thousand, nineteen hundred and seventy or so years later, His truth spoken by HIM is still as true now as it was when He first made that pronouncement just before His death on the cross. Finish the context of the passage and reveal the truth; that He spoke not to people who had a Quran to compare words, but to people who had the Hebrew Old Testament to compare and reveal something that Quran does not, that Jesus Christ IS LORD.

So who you think is the 'spirit of truth' does not register in your mind because you do not recognize who Jesus Christ really is. Further, you think that the entirely of the non-Islamic world follows a false teaching since it is not the teaching you embrace. But only a few percent of the billions in the world today who understand to whom Jesus Christ is speaking…..and it is not to islamically taught Muslims. Your islamically powered observation is proof of that.

You speak of people in the world having problems…..and Muslims are immune to problems? Were there no problems in islamically influenced societies, one could possibly argue that. But really, can you be serious in making that assertion in light of Iran, Saudi Arabia, all the other Muslim based societies.........even Bahrain?

The real insight to the problem facing everyone in the world is sin…plain old human mistake-making sin. No one except Jesus Christ was ever sinless, and Jesus Christ was making that point of our needing Him, and after the crucifixion and resurrection, needing His Holy Spirit to guide believers in faith through this morass of humanity and its trials. You see a world in deep trouble and you correctly observe that it is a jungle out there. What does that really tell you? It tells you that in reality, a majority have NOT listened to the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost for those so inclined), and those in their rebellion without the Holy Spirit (even those in Islam) are facing the judgment to come.

You make an incorrect association of the spirit being the Islamic Prophet; yet was he not flesh and blood like you and me? Is he not buried in the al-Masjid al-Nabawi? You neglect that Jesus Christ sent the Holy Spirit within two months after Christ's ascension to be the guiding light for all who have faith in Jesus Christ. In faith, I do not need the Holy Spirit to 'come to my rescue,' for He is promised to be with me at all times. When I have that spiritual connection (as we can see, so many that need to honor Him are not doing so well at that), then I am in His hands at all times.

As for Mary, his Human mother, there are references to her throughout the Holy Bible, and at least found in a minimum of two of the gospels as a centerpiece of at least four chapters (I've lost count). Try to see if you can find her in Genesis.

Ahhh, and the last contention of yours; belief in Jesus Christ as truth and as LORD is NOT compulsory; it is a matter of choice and it is a free choice, the only such choice of its kind for every man, woman or child. Hell was never intended for mankind; but the choice of not believing in Jesus Christ made hell a destination for those who choose not to honor the WORD of Jesus Christ. And I have the Holy Bible to tell me that Jesus Christ has already figured it out for me, and all I have to do is believe Him in faith. He told me that through His Holy Spirit!
