Obama's Shiite Sympathies

Reader comment on item: Egypt's Chance

Submitted by Dean (United States), Feb 15, 2011 at 10:59

Not wanting to be overly suspicious or accusatory, yet I have wondered about Obama's apparent Shiite sympathies. They allow him to give a "blank check" to Iran but undermine the Arab states that have an understanding with Israel--especially Egypt and Jordan. So I have wondered if Obama's policies are, in fact, quite deliberate and what appears as "deep disarray" is anything but. Iranian, Shiite intentions are being supported in a manner to look like a type of bungling. (I suppose I see Obama as very intelligent and deliberate, wearing an easy-going left-wing Liberal mask. Underneath he is something else, perhaps even a crypto-Shiite Muslim.)
