Trite but dangerous mindset

Reader comment on item: Counterterrorism in Obama's Washington

Submitted by John W. McGinley (United States), Aug 18, 2009 at 20:31

There is a radical disconnect between the centrist-oriented way Obama presented himself during the campaign and the leftist midset which has permeated virtually all of his decsions -- foreign and domestic -- since he has taken office. This statement is typical of the mindset which Obama promotes. In the realm of foreign policy it announces the endemically weak and spineless ambience of his Adiministration. He and his administration seem to be blind to reality. But who am I to complain?

I was blind all thorughout the campaign. I never got past the rhetoric of the candidate and actually thought he meant what he was saying. 2012 cannot come too quickly.
