Reader comment on item: The U.S. Institute of Peace Stumbles

Submitted by Arlinda DeAngelis (United States), Jun 27, 2004 at 14:33

It took a quiet professor and scholar to finally stand up and hold the US Institute for peace to a public accounting.

It is about time that the waffling and ambivilence stop with regard to those whose support terrorism with explanations, excuses and inclusions.

The United States Institute for Peace is not in existence to coddle terrorists nor is it its mission to placate them. It is their mission to educate the electorate and stand for justice and democracy.

Dr. Pipes' stand legitimizes the Institute and keeps the public and the world informed.

Thank Dr. Pipes for your tenacious and unrelenting journey towards the truth.
