Illegal Use of Public Funds -- 2004 CAIR, MSAs Using public funds to Promote Anti-semitism and Terrorism - Brit Yvonne Ridley makes the MSA speakers circuit

Reader comment on item: CAIR: 'Moderate' friends of terror

Throughout the Spring 2004 school term, CAIR and MSA organizations throughout the USA hosted so-called journalist Yvonne Ridley. I attended one of these public events hosted by CAIR and the university MSA group... The event was hosted on campus property and supported in part with monies provided to the MSA organization by the Univerisity. As a student organization, MSA orgs are eligible to receive funds from the University to help host educational and student recreational events...... well, I find this use of public funds completely unacceptable and I believe that what I heard in that lecture... the anti-semitic, anti-Israel, anti-American and pro-terrorist rantings are actually ILLEGAL based on the anti-descrimination laws attached to these public funds...... Why are these groups allowed to conduct these events using University funds? Why are Universities allowing the use of public facilities for these events. Federal and state statutues regulating any institution receiving public funding to comply with anti-descrimination policies.... it would seem to me that these events are discriminatory ..... and promote discrimination and hate...... Do we have any civil rights attorneys out there that would care to respond to this question?
