in response to reader comment: Entirely bad idea

Islam teaches its followers, that they have Darul Harb and Darul Islam.
It is their duty as followers, that they have to subjugate non-muslims and make them Dhimmis, and make them pay jiziya.
The preachers always remind this to muslim followers.
they already feel that they are superior.

Please read Maudidi (an influential thinker in pre 1947 India). Many islamic scholars formed the core thinking in asking for an islamic state by emphasizing that Islam and Koran have to be the law of the land.
They said, they have to subjugate Hindu population and make them pay jiziya, as Allah as asked them to do.

Some of the writing and speeches they made in pre1947 india, is possibly a blue print for European muslims.

It is an entirely a realistic possibility. Ofcourse we could disagree on timing.
We should not rule out this scenario, otherwise we will be totally blinded by this because of our own inadequate knowledge of islam or inherent belief in multi cultural societies or secular sociteies.
Islam does not want secular or multicutural societies, as if such societies exist then their God's law is not true. So they have to strive to convert them to Islam and Sharia.
