The battle of ideas

Reader comment on item: Capturing Osama

Submitted by Martin Lindeskog (Sweden), Mar 9, 2004 at 17:12

Mr. Pipes,

You article is full of insight. It would be a symbolic achievement if the military is catching Osama bin Laden, but the long-range goal should be to win the battle of ideas and to attack the ideological HQ of terrorism.

I am happy to see that you have illustrated the article with my favorite editorial cartoonists. It is time for Cox & Forkum to become syndicated!

I have quoted your article in my post, IS OSAMA BIN LADEN IN PAKISTAN?

Best Premises,

Martin Lindeskog - American in Spirit.
