The Greatest Leader Of All Times: MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATURK

Reader comment on item: Erdoğan: "Turkey Is Not a Country Where Moderate Islam Prevails"
in response to reader comment: about turkish imperialism

I dont know where you come from Mr. Vishvas but why dont you take the PKK terrorist (it is accepted as a terrorist organisation universally fyi) and the betrayer (not all) armenians and give them some territory of your country with the kindness of your heart. By the way read history well, Turks have been living long before any other nation in Anatolia and long before Islam.

Your ridiculous comparison between Ataturk and Hitler made me realise that you are more than ignorant so you wont get any more replies from me after this one as it has become far from an intellectual discussion. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk -in your words another Hitler- chose to bring democracy to his country- a system which even limits his powers! He could have easily declared Turkey a communist state and become another Lenin or same was possible for an Hitler system. He had all the power to brng any of these systems!

But he was far from a dictator. It is the most unwise thing to do for a dictator to build a country on parliamentary democracy and to bring free elections, give rights to women, voting rights much before some European states, bringan end to the traditionalist islamists ways, bring in western clothing, a new language etc. He beated west with western values and its amusing to see how much it still aches for those emperialist like you who have failed to colonise this nation. Thats why the so called democratic West is now supporting AKP-an anti secular islamist party in Turkey and by doing this they are trying to push Turkey backwards.

But this aint gonna happen. The followers of Mustafa Kemal will keep this country secular and modern whatever people like you or radical islamists name him as, we really dont care. And fyi no one would be punished by saying anything they think in my country. If you realise we are run by a government who is in psychological war with the founding of this state and yet they still got elected! What is democracy if not this?

Or to be democratic do we have to obey what the emperialists say or let the veil ( which isnt even a muslim dressing more of christian nuns in monastries ) become the dressing of women in Turkey? Never! This ugly collaboration between the so called western democracy lovers and the islamists wont succeed. And as a lady involved in politics in Turkey with a BA and MA degree in Political Science from a reputable university in United Kingdom, i can assure you that.
