Continue exposing Esposito for what he is: a blatant apologist for IslamReader comment on item: John Esposito and Me Submitted by Dennis Graves (United States), Dec 25, 2007 at 19:34 One would expect that Georgetown would have higher standards. Until I read enough Esposito, I had thought that professors at major universities only achieved their positions by demonstrating a modicum of balance in their scholarship on controversial subjects. I certainly agree with the comments that expose Esposito as a blatant apologist for Islam. Unfortunately, he continues to have standing that provides him a platform for his lopsided advocacy of Islam. The more that can be done to expose him, the better.
