You've done a very good job, Marie, at taking things out of their context (Erdogan's words) and making across-the-board generalizations about how 'backward' Turks are, assuming all Turks (perhaps also all Muslims) are the same everywhere etc.

Your comments exemplify the typical colonialist mindset and orientalist view of Europeans that has demonized other peoples for centuries. Isn't it time to question these assumptions? ...
