Reader comment on item: Too Many Mosques?
in response to reader comment: Western countries are paying the price of what they have done to Muslims

You're right about there not being too much time about changing faiths. Life is short. You do have time though, Monsoor. I hope for the sake of your eternal life that you see the light because right now you're in the darkness. And I know you cannot believe that, and so respect the intelligence of the people here that many do understand your holy book, and some people like myself who've lived in Islamic countries as a minority surrounded by Muslims who've put Korans in my hand and tried to get their points with Allah by converting me, have actually read the book with an open mind.

But you see, our culture allows for the openness and the inquiry into other faiths and beliefs- one reason we're a progressive society that contributes and discovers and invents and creates - and we are allowed to choose for ourselves without the threat of being shunned by our families, oppressed by our government, or even outright killed for "├Ąposty." Of all the Muslims I know (and call friends), I have never met a single one who's read the Bible and the New Testament.

Give it a try, Monoor (in secret; nobody has to know). Compare Jesus to Mohammed. They are polar opposites, my friend. Compare our loving God to your God of death and hate and intolerance. Ask yourself who God may have been speaking of when he warned us of the "false prophet." Then you will understand why you're not going to convince any Christians here to join ...
