Reader comment on item: Too Many Mosques?
in response to reader comment: The Egyptian Case - How churches are treated in Egypt?

There is nothing that will incite Muslims to increase their attacks more than docility. Once beaten into submission, the Copts of Egypt lost all respect with the Muslims, and sealed their fate for islamization or banishment. The same occured in the whole levant, with one exception. The Jews.

The Jews arose out of the ashes and reclaimed their ancient homeland, beating the Muslims again and again. That commands respect. Respect is lost by pandering, and gained by intransigent resistance to islamization. The Arabs, used to the submissiveness of the Christians of the Levant are absolutely incensed by the obdurate Jews. If the Chrisitians of Europe had any sense they would join Israel in tackling the Islamist onslaught. Unfortunately Europe is a weakling secular jellyfish, and Militant Islam will eat it up within the next fifty years.
