What Queen Elizabeth Did Was An Act Of Courage

Reader comment on item: American Intifada
in response to reader comment: tit for tat: No Thanks to Queen Elizabeth

What Queen Elizabeth did in knighting Sahman Rushdie was an act of courage. What she did sent a message that the Jewish/Christian west needs to stand up to those who want to destroy western civilization and all the good that has been made by this great civilization. The decision to knight Mr. Rushdie was hers and hers alone and no one elses. It is time for the west to say enough to those who want to do it violence and stand up for what is right.
