My own take on all of thisReader comment on item: Nike and 9/11 Submitted by Seamus MacNemi (United States), Jun 4, 2007 at 13:48 My own experience had taught me that the only way you get a Muslim to respect you is if you first scare the living daylights out of him. Then when he is quaking in his shoes he might, at least, be willing to listen to you. I do not believe in handling Muslims with kid gloves. The only thing they will respect is the mailed fist. That, at least, they understand. They do not understand kindness or hospitality or generousity. They see these things as only a weakness and they will take whatever advantage they can of any good will that they are shown....just so they can get a hand up on you when you are not looking. If you wish to shake the hand of a Muslim make sure you take hold of both hands because the hand you do not hold will have a knife ready to stick you in the back.
