I usually expect a different point of view when I read CounterPunch, but today there is an article on that site "What If There Is No Such Thing As Al Qaeda?" by Steve Perry which is almost identical in content and tone to the Daniel Pipes' article "Al-Qaeda's Limits".

Perhaps US commentators have their own roadmap.
