Wasn't it Napoleon who said - The moral is to the physical as three to one

Fortunately (hopefully) we can still beat these SOB's anytime we choose since we have far more than a three to one advantage in everything but morale.

Perhaps the coming religious war in Europe will wake us up, but unfortunately it's all too probable that we will continue to temporize and fight half heartedly and half effectively until some new attack on our homeland truly frightens us into responding with a counterstrike which will inspire sobbing mea culpas from bleeding hearts for a hundred years.
