Hello to everyone. I am writing to you in response to this article. I do not understand how you would think that left-wingers are bad people. Hussein Ibish has been an American in the true sense. I am a Palestinian living in Canada and love life here due to its freedoms and its offers. America is the same if not better. I do not think if someone disagrees with what happens in Palestine as a "wrong" person, to be polite. This part of the world is democratic. I can disagree with anyone I want. That is why I am writing to you. You have your views Sir. But they are a little bit harsh if I may say. What is happening in Palestine is wrong. What is happening in Israel is wrong too. But do you think if you had your own land taken away by some foreigner then you would be fine with it? Jews did live in this land and the Romans kicked them out. The Jews have suffered through the Nazis. I have many Jewish friends and we get along perfectly and respect my views and they are not "self-hatting" Jews. They speak about the mid-east better than I do. Do you think a person with no home, no father, no money, humiliated by a trigger-happy soldier, and no hope to fight with an F-16 that he or she does not have? I do not like suicide bombers. I totally disagree with it. But there are no F-16s, Apatche helicopters, M-16s and so forth. Do you think that if the violent acts stop right now there will be a Palestinian state under the U.N. charter. I did not think so. There are so many "illegal" settlements that negotiations are getting tougher and the people are losing hope. During the Oslo process where there was a cessation of violence the illegal settlements were still growing. I hope to here your objective views Sir. Thank you
