This is happening here in Sydney, Australia on a rampant scale.
The rise of middle eastern gangs is a phenomenon here that has raged out of control over the last 15 to 20 years until recently. However, ultra violent middle eastern gangs also make up a large % of jail inmates. The police have not totally asleep and are now getting pro-active, thank god.

According to a retired detective, Tim Priest, the middle east gangs control car rebirthing, car spare parts rackets, drugs, atm heists, luxury car theft, extortion rackets on night clubs and businesses, gun crime, illegal gun sales and prostitution. They are prolific in fake id, fake car registrations, licences, engine id numbers, credit card scams, false degrees the list goes on. many 18 yr old middle eastern youths drive fabulous cars worth 40, to 50 to 60 thousands of dollars.

They have been very busy whilst ordinary concerned citizens have been muzzled with the stupidity of do gooders and their mindless political correctness every time someone raise a concern. Even the suggestion that ultra violent middle eastern gang rape (do a search on skaf brothers gang) is racially motivated brings a hail of derision from the media. This is in spite of the clearly stated motivation of the rapists that western women deserved it.
