Chawki Hammoud's response to my article is pure lies. Just as he stated in the television interview from Lebanon with his "Jewish Attorney" that they didn't profit from the money raised by the cell he and his brother ran in Charlotte, N.C....let him deny that large sums of money were given to them and ultimately sent to Hezbollah prior to their trial for cigarette smuggling, he referred to as a misdimeaner crime, when in fact it's definitely a "FELONY" and they should have been charged under the "RICO ACT" and gotten more time for their crimes of money laundering, fraudulent marriages (which he admitted to), not to mention the fact that our government didn't prosecute them for funneling money to Hezbollah as should have been done.

I have in my own hands Fawzi Asmar's own handwritten ledger showing payment of $30,000.00 one whack to Chawki's brother Mohammoud Hammoud who was the leader of the cell....not to mention the other entries to him, with Fawzi's brother Georges Naseeb El Asmar taking $50,000.00 the next day to Lebanon to Hezbollah.

Maybe Hezbollah didn't come visit you, maybe you didn't bring enough cash for them to use against the U.S.A. Maybe they were mad that your group got caught. Did it ever dawn on you or any other member that your dear friend Haissam Nashar is the one that gave the 18 names to the feds when he was caught at the airport in St. Louis, Missourt with $700,000. in counterfeit cigarette stamps in his briefcase to cut his deal? Did it ever occur to you that Georges N. El Asmar also gave the same 18 names when he was caught smuggling cigarettes to Michigan, knowing Haissam had already given the same names? He came back here laughing that he'd pulled the same deal on the feds that Sam had pulled....calling us "Dumb Americans".

I'm sure you remember, Haissam and George were roommates in Charlotte, so George knew what went down, that's when he came to the coast to live, as things were getting tight in Charlotte at the time. Did it ever dawn on you and your cohorts that Haissam didn't like competition and what you were doing was taking away from his profits? Why else would he have given up your group to the feds? Just becuase you rented the trucks and vans from him, didn't mean he got to spit the profits from your trips, as he did when Fawzi and George delivered for him....you all were competitors that had to go. So if you want to be angry at anyone, you should be angry with Haissam not the U.S.A.

You came here, you stayed illegally, you committed crimes, and you deserved everything you got. If I'd been the judge on the bench, you'd have served more time than you actaully did....and if we're lucky, your brother will never live long enough to get out. I'm a true believer, that when you give to terrorist, you are a terrorist and should be treated as such.

You say none of you were a part of a cell, PROVE IT TO ME. Send me all of the accounting records of the money that was paid to you and your brother, by Fawzi, George and others, let me trace the income and out flow, and if it looks like I think it will, you will certainly be classified as a "Cell" that was funneling money to Hezbollah. PROVE ME WRONG. I WELCOME YOU.

Show me how your brother qualified to get a U.S. Small Business Loan from our government to open his nice new big convenience store, and I'll show you another federal crime.

What did you expect the American Authorities to do with the evidence against you? Put it in a bag and burn it, or use it to try you for the crimes you committed? I wasn't there for the trial, but I've read the charges/indictments and outcomes, which included a lot of plea bargaining that helped many of you, so don't gripe about our courts. Why don't you act like a man instead of the pussy I saw in the inteview claiming you had done no wrong. You did a lot of wrong, and as far as I'm concerned, you didn't serve nearly enough time in our federal prisons. Be thankful you're out and back in Lebanon. I sinerely hope that you're never allowed back in the U.S.A. to continue your crimes. My theory is simple: IF YOU FIVE MONEY TO TERRORIST, YOU ARE A TERRORIST. PROVE ME WRONG IF YOU CAN.
