CAIR has called for release of Abdul Rahman

Reader comment on item: A CAIR Miscellany

Submitted by Abdul-Malik Ryan (United States), Mar 23, 2006 at 18:30

Mr. Pipes,

I could not read the article you posted nor do I know what Mr. Hooper had said. Perhaps he was just saying that CAIR had not yet discussed the issue so he could not make a statement on behalf of the organization.

I don't speak for CAIR either and am not in the job of defending the organization but factually speaking CAIR has issued a press release on March 22, 2006 calling for the release of Mr. Abdul Rahman by the Afghani authorities.
