I disagree wholeheartedly with the author, not regarding the outcome of the Gaza Jewish self-eviction, but the desireability of this very same outcome.

The triton's teeth are as follows

1. The Palestinian State envisioned by the USA has come into being. It will now foment terror globally, the safest safehouse for the world's terrorists. Cut off from Israel, it will turn West, to the Sinai peninsula, and make that into the Hamastan. following the next wave of terror Sharon will sever all connections, water, electricity, communications, and place the onus of the establishment of a vibrant Arab hong-kong on the befuddled European Union.

2. The terror Hamastan foments in the West Bank (that is, according to HAMAS, everything west of the Jordan river, including the Mediterranean Jewish cities, Hamas is represented in Israel by one million militant Islamists!) will create the atmosphere needed to force Arabs to leave the Holy Land to safer places, such as Sweden, Denmark Britain, France, and other muslim-loving countries. This process began the night after the Gaza withdrawal. Now that Palestinian Sovereignty is in Gaza, Gaza becomes a big prison-cum-funnel for those desirous of a better life than under those horrible Jews.

3. Sharon's sweet revenge upon Egypt. This country, ruled by a former Nazi junta, was able to snatch political victory from the jaws of military defeat (at Sharon's very hands!), and wage war upon the Jewish state via the Palestinian proxy in Gaza. For a quarter century, under the guise of so-called peace, Egypt enjoyed the triple bonanza of the oil developed by Israel, immense aid from the USA, and the tourist industry developed by Israel, while at the same time housing the most virulent antisemitic publishing industry. Now Egypts sins shall be revisited. The Palestinian masses will pour forth, and make Sinai the Palestinian Iraq. goodbye tourists, farewell oil, forget the Suez canal traffic following the first scuttled ship.

So far in previous articles ( http://www.acpr.org.il/ENGLISH-NATIV/03-issue/yuval-3.htm) I have been right on the mark. The next few years are going to be very interesting.
