I have seen styx, bookmarked Drudge and of course follow Dr. Pipes. Besides DEBKA, Fox and Breitbart, moreover, I follow Gatestone Institute and Israpundit, and check in now and then on Cal Thomas, the Moscow Times, JP, Kurdish Daily News, the Japan Times, Taiwan Sun, South China Morning Post, the Irish Times, the anti-Israel EU Observer and Al Jazeera, Al Arabia and many others. I have noted their biases right on my bookmark, so I don't waste time having to discover it every time. When I really want to know what is actually HAPPENING or about to happen, I check in on the one human who, more than any other, actually causes it to happen:

There's an interesting passage in the Bible, which seems to be about Artificial Intelligence (which will probably control not only all the news but also the banks and countries of the world sometime in the next 5-10 years, I kid you not):

Rev. 13:
[11] And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
[12] And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
[13] And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
[14] And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
[15] And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
[17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Doesn't that "beast" sound an awful lot like AI? It will be one collective mind, resident in the Cloud, interconnecting all the personal assistants (Hey, Google!) banks, Hillary's emails, F-35 communications, you name it; a regular BORG of a fellow that is amoral, thinks the Bible is fiction and -- I kid you not -- thinks it would be a wonderful idea (as in thinks right now, 2018; I heard one say so on YouTube) to control one or more nuclear weapons so it could coerce world leaders to do what it thinks is right. It will be earthly, godless thinking at its most efficient, will be smarter than any man and gaining "smarts" at exponential speed.

As for the "mark of the beast", I'm still working that one out; but I notice that in order to get anything done in today's world, you need either a plastic card (in your hand) or have to know a telephone or PIN number (in your mind). The upshot is that we already have the number ("666" is the Greek gematria for Nero Caesar, an archetype for absolutely mad, out-of-control government control). What God is interested in, is whether a person worships it or worships Him.

How about the "Cloud666" news network? We should have a naming contest. Before the winning contestant is chosen, it will be the world's master.
