Lying in Islamic is allowed in the following conditions (don't forget that Allah calls himself Khayru al-Makereen) :

1. Muslims can break an oath

2. A Muslim man can lie to his wife

3. al-Harbu Khid'a or lying in war is allowed

4. Muslims can deny being Muslims and more so in the case of al-Shi'a if they live among Sunnis they can pretend to be Sunnis and this is what al-Taqiyya in Shi'a Islam is supposed to be all about However, Sunni Muslims practice it all the time when living in the West

Linda Sarsour is really ignorant otherwise she would have known that the word al-Jihad really means Holy War (Arab Muslims know the meaning of the word al-Jihad very well) and would have stayed away from using it
