Dear Prof. Pipes:

The real crime in all this is that supposedly neutral third parties in the West Bank and Gaza spout forth the Palestinian line. I doubt very much if the Arab in the street appreciates the drastic drop in living standards which has taken place in Pastinian controlled areas since so-called Palestinians have taken control. Isn't it interesting that the 'government' entities have taken on all the trappings of a normal Arab state. The people in the street are extremely poor and repressed, all since Oslo.
