Daniel Pipes' Criticism for Israel to Win vs. the Moral High Ground

Reader comment on item: Does Israel Need U.S. Jewish Support?
in response to reader comment: American-born Israeli Historian & Knesset Member, Michael B. Oren, Tells It Like It Is

I've read that criticism that you're allegedly not critical of Israel.

Unlike that other class, which pretends to be supporting Israel
by criticizing Israel for its immoral behavior towards Palestinians,
your criticism aim to present critiques of how to win,
from the standpoint of tactics and strategy.

You do not take the moral high ground
which presumes that there is a victim,
namely the Palestinian,
and that the alleged exploiter,
namely the Israeli.

Like Michael Oren, I'm inclined to psychoanalyses the Jew,
such as Bernie Sanders,
who claims to take the moral high ground
by saying that,
Netanyahu isn't always right
and that there were too many casualties in the last Gaza war
(lack of "proportionality" in response to the daily rain of rockets on Israel from Gaza).
I hypothesize that there is some Jewish reaction to the Holocaust
whereby a Noam Chomsky needs to show
how much he cares
about a victim in the hands of Jews - the Palestinian whose land is "occupied."
