Does Israel need US Jewish support?

Reader comment on item: Does Israel Need U.S. Jewish Support?

Submitted by Anne USA (United States), Apr 19, 2016 at 15:04

The Jews should support their own people wherever they are in the world. We need to stand as a wall to help Israel against her enemies. Start speaking up! Most significantly, our nation's leaders are ignoring the warnings of Scripture that God will bless those that bless Israel and will curse those who curse Israel. Genesis 12:3. Joel 3:2 warns the nations of the world that God will judge any of them who come against Israel in the end times and try to force the Jewish people to divide their land.

President Obama has held Israel in contempt from the moment he took office. He has sought the favor of the muslim world by marginalizing Israel and its leaders. He has repeatedly treated Prime Minister Netanyahu like he was the leader of a Latin American banana republic, and Obama has refused to allow the Israelis to participate in his negotiations with Iran, that is a direct thorn in Israel's side on purpose. A vote for Bernie Sanders or Hillary is a vote against Israel, and may I add, if Trump is neutral on Israel, he is not the best choice for President either.
