Dr. Pipes you wrote

No religion condones the killing of innocents

Not true there is only one religion where it says in the infamous ayat al-sayf or THE SWORD VERSE to kill the polytheists which really means to kill non Muslims oh and rape the women of non Muslims and ensalve them and force them to convert to that religion

Hint: This religion is not Buddhism or Jainism

Oh Trahison des clercs? I'm afraid to say that our leaders cannot be regarded as intellectuals
