Our dear sana and women in Islam
Reader comment on item: What's True Islam? Not for U.S. to Say
in response to reader comment: cruelty is not islamic

Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Feb 13, 2008 at 18:45

Our dear Sana wrote

>cruelty to women is not islamic nor is it necessarily cultural.

Really? but our dear sana it says in Qur'an 4:34:

al-rijal qaauumuna 3ala al-nnisaai'

Or: the men are in charge of women

Then the usual Quranic blah...blah...blah then

wa idribuhunna

Or beat them (the women that is) (root DRB)

Do you know what this means? Let me help you: Your Allah is saying that

1. Women and men are not equal and that women are weak and they cannot take care of themseves. So are you weak and are you aware that your Allah is saying that you cannot take care of yourself our dear Sana? What do you think?

2. Then your Allah tells men to beat women that do not obey them, and I'm sure you agree with me that this is cruelty to women

3. Here is the US if a man beats a woman he will be in jail. It seems that your Allah disagrees and for this I say shame.

4. And here is your bonus for today: Your Allah's Arabic is poor as the rasm of the word qaauumuna is: QWMUN. This poor Arabic was edited by the 3Ulama by adding a fatha above the qaf, an alif then a hamza above the waw, then sukun above the waw then fatha above the last nuun.

So much for the unedited Qur'an!

> It's just like the United States.

No it is not. A man that beats a woman will be put in jail. Your claim is bogus

>There are people that beat and kill their wives.

Sure but they will be put in jail. It seems that it is fine with your Allah if a man beats a woman and this beating could lead to death of such woman.

> Of course the U.S. hides this filthy truth from the rest of the world

And how is that ya ayuha al-falyasoofa al-kabeera? Explain it to us?

> in order to show and keep its dominance over the world.

Really? And how can your claim that the US "hides this filthy truth blah blah blah" "...to show and keep dominance of the world"? Explain this little gem to us ya roh baba! So much for your poor Muslim education

>Cruelty in other countries is not any worse than in the U.S.

But you just wrote that is must be worse in the US!

> I actually think it's sometimes worse in the United States because of all the killings.

So is it OK to beat women as long as they are not killed? Shame on you!

So why do you live in the US? And you know what? more likely than not many of your women ancestors were brutalized by islamic teaching...
