Jordan has control over the Temple Mount. One day the Israelis will control the Temple Mount for in the Middle of the Seven Year Tribulation the anti-Christ will appear in the Jewish Temple 2 Thessalonians 2:4 declaring himself as God. This is the Abomination of Desolation Matthew 24:15 spoken about from the prophet Daniel where Daniel tells the Jewish people to flee to Edom, Moab and Ammon where they will be safe. Daniel 11:41.

The Jordanian government likely falls to the radical Salafi and ISIS forces and Israel is forced to take over the regions of Edom, Moab and Ammon Psalms 83:6-7 in the Psalms 83 war. The Salafi are mainly Jordanian Palestinians whom likely join the Palestinians in the ancient land of the Philistines Hamas in Gaza to fight Israel.

This Psalms 83 war and the Gog/Magog war will occur before the tribulation causing desolation throughout the Middle-East such that the world cries for a leader who by peace will destroy many. Daniel 8:25
