Jerusalem In Prophecy

Reader comment on item: Middle East threats, American retreat
in response to reader comment: Nuclear War and Breakfast on the Table

Zechariah 14:9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth. Revelation 20:4 And Jesus Christ will reign over the earth for 1,000 years.

Zechariah 14:12 And the Lord shall smite all the people who come against Jerusalem. Revelation 16:14 and the whole world come to battle of that great day of God Almighty. Zechariah 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem. Sounds like the battle of Armageddon Revelation 16:16.

All these end time prophecies are centered around or near Jerusalem. How can these scriptures not be true? Even now Jerusalem is in the news.

Israel will have its temple built in the near future. How can 2 Thessalonians 2:4 the evil one blasphemy God's name in his temple not be true?
