Reader comment on item: Better Dictators than Elected Islamists

Submitted by PermReader (Russia), Dec 15, 2012 at 12:41

The problems of Islamist rulers of Egypt and Turkey are the American and Western support. In the past this support guaranteed their obedience. Without the 1.5 billions of American help, Morci will lose his power in a year. Of course the uncivility of the Islamists and the low social culture of the population will cause the problems of future instability and poverty. The failures of the dictators in the Islam world means the people's understanding that their national states are weak in the comparison of the combined might of oil -rich Islam.
