An amazing story appeared in the Christian Science Monitor February 4th, which appears to me to contain the real answer to the problem. It described a Yemeni judge who challenged imiprisoned terrorists to a theological duel. Whose side had better support from the Quran, the Islamists or the moderate Muslims? And the terrorists lost.
