Reader comment on item: Female Genital Mutilation: A Guide to Laws and Policies Worldwide
in response to reader comment: female genital cutting

Submitted by Nange Jude (Cameroon), Feb 25, 2012 at 08:12

Am called Nange jude from the northwestern region of Cameroon. i think FGM is evil and ungodly, i don't see why men have to perform FGM on women, am a pentecostal Christian and there is no where in the bible that states that FGM can be done on women to reduce their appetite for extra marital, most of the men that promote this aren't even married to one woman, please, lets stop it .Tradition and the word of God which is more important. Biblically only men can be circumcise.

Heaven and earth shall pass away but the word of God still stand.
