in support of aryan invasion theoryReader comment on item: Not Stealing Palestine but Purchasing Israel Submitted by fighterclass (India), Jun 23, 2011 at 17:19 we have all of the pseudo science that led to the theory of nazism, perhaps Mr Pipes also believes in those ? 'widely accepted elsewhere' is a rather weak argument, firstly, considering it is anything but widely accepted, whether in India or abroad, secondly because vague statements like widely accepted does not make anything correct. After all it was 'widely accepted' a few moons back that the earth was flat and the sun rotates around the earth (well many still do I guess, if the earth is 6000 years old..........). perhaps Mr Pipes does not believe in keeping in touch with modern research and prefers to hold on to the comfort of vaguely racist theories from the 19th century ? in case he changes his mind, he should have a look at Indo-Aryan Controversy: Evidence and Inference in Indian History Edwin Bryant, Laurie Patton Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
