A bad situation all around

Reader comment on item: The Worst Crisis in 35 Years?

Submitted by Carl Sesar (United States), Mar 17, 2010 at 16:39

Thank you, Daniel Pipes. A very fine article, and it cheers me up, too, especially item (5). In light of this, however, the irony is, I almost wish you hadn't written it so soon. I don't want to see Obama take over that 1/6th of the US economy, and if he happens to read your article and takes your advice, his numbers may stop plummeting in just enough time for him to squeak by and -- G-d forbid! -- get that horrible bill of his passed. And after all, the more Obama hurts us here in the USA, the meaner it can become for Israel, too. He's out to get at us both, if he can.
